A Southwest Boeing 737 jet is on sale for $550,000 on Facebook

The usual online listings tend to be unwanted furniture and cars at discounted prices, but now there’s a new category: airplanes.

A Southwest Boeing 737-300 jet from 1996, according to a Facebook post. According to airline news site The Points Guy, the tail number matches a jet in storage in Victorville, Calif.

“Can fly immediately when buyer finds CFM56 3C1 \3B1 engines for it,” reads the post.

The listing is from an account named “Aircraft Salvage – Sales / Swap” and boasts a community of members just shy of 5,000 users. “This page is to buy, sell or trade any aviation related parts or pieces you have collected or are looking for,” reads the group’s “about” section.

Photos of the jet show it parked in an arid region on a runway with its serial number N630WN on full display. There are also photos of the jet’s interiors showing several of their vintage seats and the mechanical operation board.

“Do you have any gallery carts,” asked an interested individual on the post. “I am serious,” they replied to themselves.

The first Southwest Boeing 737-300 debuted on December 17, 1984, which was 81 years to the day that the Wright brothers took flight.

The Boeing 737-300 has 137 seats available for any willing and eager passengers.
