Construction of Miami’s 57-story office tower takes shape

Construction is progressing at 830 Brickell, the only Class A office tower underway in Brickell, Miami’s Financial District.

Development of 830 Brickell is rising fast, with construction crews recently surpassing the 57-story tower’s 22nd office level. With one full level expected to be completed every week going forward, 830 Brickell is on track to be complete in 2022.

The building is the first standalone Class A office tower to be developed in downtown Miami in more than a decade and is situated in the heart of Brickell, Miami’s premier address for financial services and tech firms, just steps away from multiple transit options and the city’s most desirable residences, hotels, restaurants, and retailers.

830 Brickell was designed by architecture firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, with interiors by Italian architecture and design company Iosa Ghini Associati.

Cushman & Wakefield is serving as the exclusive leasing agent for the tower, which includes approximately 60,309-m2 (650,000-sf) of office space.

830 Brickell’s recently completed parking facility will complement the multitude of transportation options including the Metromover, Metrorail, and intercity rail service Brightline. The garage design features an aluminum kinetic wall with metallic squares in constant motion powered by Biscayne Bay breezes. Above the garage, the tower will be clad with 95,690-m2 (1 million-sf) of uninterrupted glass.
