7 a. m.: The tornado watch posted for all of Central Florida late Saturday night has expired, but storms are continuing to move through the area.

5:50 a.m.: The tornado watch has been canceled for Voluisa, Marion anf Flagler counties.

11 p.m.: A tornado watch has been issued for most of Central Florida until 7 a.m. on Sunday.

10:10 p.m.: The tornado watch for Marion and Flagler counties has now been canceled as well. The severe weather threat in Central Florida will remain overnight and Chief Meteorologist Tony Mainolfi says we can expect another watch issued after midnight.

9:15 p.m.: A portion of the tornado watch has been canceled for Lake, Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties, but may be reissued later on tonight as a cold front sweeps into our region before daybreak.

8 p.m. There are no active warnings in Central Florida, but most of the area remains under a tornado watch until midnight.

A Tornado Watch means tornadoes are possible inside a thunderstorm. If a tornado is spotted, a warning would be issued.

6:55 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Marion County until 7:45 p.m.

6:15 p.m. The tornado warning issued for Flagler County has now expired. A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 6:30 p.m.

5:45 p.m.: A Tornado Warning was just issued for Flagler County until 6:15 p.m.

When a Tornado Warning is issued by the National Weather Service, a tornado has been sighted or indicated by weather radar. There is imminent danger to life and property.

4:25 P.M. A tornado watch has been issued for much of Central Florida. Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Marion, Flagler and Sumter counties are under a tornado watch until midnight.

4:15 p.m.: The warning in Seminole and Orange counties has expired, but we are still watching the threat of strong and severe storms later on this afternoon into tonight.

3:51 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Seminole and Orange counties.

8 a.m. : There is a chance of strong to severe storms Saturday afternoon into Saturday night in much Central Florida.

The Storm Prediction Center on Saturday morning upgraded much of Central Florida to a slight risk, which means there is a scattered threat of severe storms in the area.

The biggest threat in Central Florida Saturday will be damaging wind gusts inside of strong storms.
