Swarms of police and plenty of detectives have been at the scene since late Saturday evening in a neighborhood in Pompano Beach.

Broward Sheriff’s Office is reporting that they received a 911 call around 11:43 p.m. about a shooting in the 2200 block of Northwest 4th Street. When they arrived at the scene, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to a nearby hospital where one of the victims died.

The other remains at the hospital and is being treated for their injuries, according to BSO.

BSO homicide unit is investigating. The case remains active and ongoing.
