Drivers are experiencing delays Thursday afternoon on Interstate 95 in both directions in Miami-Dade County. A section of I-95 northbound remains closed.

A fiery car crash on the I-95 Express North between Northwest 103d and 119th streets left one person dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Luca Wiggs shared a video of the dark smoke coming from the fire.

“I stopped to check on a woman that was in a major accident,” Wiggs wrote on Facebook. “When fire and EMS came, there was another accident that happened about 1/4 mile behind us. Then we saw this huge plume of smoke.”

The entry ramp to I-95 Express NB from State Road 112 was blocked.

The entry ramp to I-95 NB from 62nd Street was also blocked.
