An active investigation continues into a multiple shooting at a home in Tamarac.

At approximately 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 9700 block of Northwest 83rd Street.

According to BSO, when deputies arrived to the scene, they helped 3 children escape the home through a back window. SWAT then attempted to make contact with people inside the home, BSO said.

When they were unable to get any response from inside the residence, they entered the home and found a man and woman dead, and another woman injured. The injured victim was airlifted to the hospital.
