Jacques Nasser, a former CEO of Ford Motor Co., sold a mansion on the Venetian Islands of Miami Beach for $18 million.
The 10,041-square-foot home at 445 and 441 E Rivo Alto Drive was sold to Atlantic View Holdings LLC, a Delaware-registered company that listed its address as a PO box in West Hollywood, California. It’s not clear who owns the LLC.
The seller was represented by Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty. She said it was the second-highest home sale ever on the Venetian Islands, which are along a causeway between the beach and downtown Miami. The buyer was represented by Douglas Kinsley of Fortune International Realty.
The price equated to $1,793 per square foot.
The home was originally built on the 26,282-square-foot site in 1956, but it has been renovated and expanded several times over the years. Nasser acquired it for $5 million in 2005 and made significant renovations.
The home has nine bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two half bathrooms, a pool, and a dock.
Nasser had a long career at Ford, including serving as CEO from 1999 to 2001. He then became chairman of Australian company BHP Billiton and was named to the board of 21st Century Fox.
