A New Build in Miami Beach Hits Market for $25.5 Million

A newly completed home in Miami Beach, Florida, that offers indoor and outdoor living with a slew of resort-style amenities, has come onto the market for $25.5 million.

Located in the gated Altos Del Mar, the only oceanfront residential enclave of Miami Beach, the house was designed and developed as a collaboration between two South African brothers, Ivan and Moss Kadey.

Ivan Kadey is a musician, architect and acoustic designer who has for years built music studios in Los Angeles and around the world, while Moss Kadey is a venture capitalist and business mogul, who has invested in many luxury beauty brands, including Becca Cosmetics, which sold to Estée Lauder for $200 million in 2016.

The Kadey brothers bought the 0.37-acre parcel for $3.88 million in 2014, property records show. They spent the last four years on the project and finished it last year.

“My inspiration was to create a dune that could comfortably climb to experience the ocean view,” said Ivan Kadey, the architect. “This was interpreted as the terraced stair and skylit axis that bisects and organizes the layout of the house from entryway to the descending pool stair at the opposite side.”

Built 20 feet above sea level, the home’s exterior features exposed steel, and glass windows imported from Switzerland, according to the listing posted by Ruthie and Ethan Assouline at Compass late last week.

“This residence is an architectural masterpiece. From the moment you step inside you are transported through a beachside work of art, with panoramic ocean views and no detail spared,” said Ruthie Assouline.

The home has 6,599 square feet of living space including six bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, open living and dining rooms overlooking the ocean, a kitchen and a family room, according to the listing.

The home also offers a dedicated office, a gym, a rooftop deck with 360-degree bies and an embedded steel Jacuzzi, a surround-sound home theater, a spa with steam room, a cold plunge, and a sauna, according to the listing.

Outdoors, the property has a deck made of imported African coralwood, an oceanfront cabana, a garden, a 60-foot pool, and a summer kitchen, according to the listing.
