NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – North Miami police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Monday morning.

The crash occurred between 2 and 2:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 119th Street and Seventh Avenue.

According to authorities, three vehicles were involved in the collision and at least one person has died. Police did not immediately say how many people were injured.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene and saw a white Range Rover off to the side of the road that had been involved in the crash. A black car and a black and red two-toned vehicle that sustained significant damage in the crash were nearby.

A cashier at a nearby 7-Eleven told Local 10 News that he heard the crash. He said reckless driving has been a constant problem in the area.

Seventh Avenue is currently closed in both directions at 119th Street as police investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
