Bradley International Airport adds nonstop daily flights to Miami

WINDSOR LOCKS, Connecticut — Spirit Airlines has added new, daily, nonstop flights from Hartford/ Springfield’s Bradley International Airport to Miami.

The flights began Wednesday and were advertised on the Spirit Airline website with fares as cheap as $31.

The flights leave Bradley at 8:10 p.m., arrives in Miami at 11:30 p.m. and the return flight leaves Miami at 3:30 p.m. and arrives in Windsor Locks at 6:46 p.m.

“Visiting the Sunshine State from Bradley International Airport has never been easier,” said Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon. “We are thrilled with Spirit Airlines’ expansion at Bradley Airport and the addition of their new, nonstop service to Miami. The new route strengthens our region’s connectivity to a key Florida destination, giving our passengers now even more convenient and affordable travel options. It is also an indicator of Spirit Airlines’ growing popularity among our passenger base and its confidence in our award-winning airport.”

Jetblue and American and Frontier also offer nonstop flights to Miami, the Connecticut Airport Authority said

Miami is one of Bradley International Airport’s most visited destinations. The airport now offers nonstop service to six Florida cities on five different airlines.

In September, the airport announced that Sun Country Airlines launched new, nonstop service to Orlando from Bradley.
