Groundbreaking took place last month on an affordable housing project in Edgewater called Biscayne House.
Biscayne House will rise 12 stories and include:
- 75 apartments spread over 8 floors
- 4-story parking garage
Units will be small, ranging in size from from 369 to 547 square feet, according to the SFBJ.
Prices will be affordable to those earning less than 50% of the median income of the area, which is currently $44,268.
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation of Los Angeles is the developer.
Glavovic Studio is the architect.
