The prominent Cuban actor and comedian Medardo Naranjo, popularly known as ‘Mamito’, died this Saturday at the age of 81 in the city of Miami, Florida.

This was announced by the humorous duo Los Pichy Boys, with whom Mamito worked in recent years:

“Another one that is leaving us this 2020, I just finished talking with Jose, Mamito’s son and he tells me that his father passed away. Mamito, you were a great one! We spend the best moments of our career with you on TV, you leave physically but you stay in hearts, you will reach heaven and when the angels ask you: ‘Hey, are you Mamito? You proudly respond to him with: ‘THAT’S HOW IT IS!’ Rest in Peace, ”the duo members said on Facebook.

Mamito Naranjo was one of the favorite artists of the Cuban public in Miami due to his participation in programs such as ‘La Cosa Nostra’ and ‘El Mikimbín de Miami’, from the América TeVé network, as well as ‘Pellízcame que I’m dreaming’, together with the presenter Carlos Otero, who also dedicated a few words to him and to fellow actor and comedian Eddy Calderón, who happened to pass away on Saturday.
