The Miami Dolphins held a ceremony yesterday for their new best-in-class $135M training facility next to Hard Rock Stadium, which will host training camp for the first time next week.

The facility features three practice fields, including one indoors in a giant steel field house, along with an auditorium, offices, and meeting rooms.

Players will have access to a lap pool, hot and cold plunge pools, and a hydroworks pool with an underwater treadmill. There’s also a sauna and steam room.

A massive two-story weight room is also available.

A player’s lounge, barber shop, dart lounge, dining room, and 30-foot slide are among the other amenities the team will enjoy.

State of the art technology is built into the new facility including Verizon 5G, Wifi 6, hundreds of TVs, and the latest camera equipment.

Fans will be able to watch the team practice with 2,200 seats next to the outdoor fields, plus berm seating for 800 more.

The team previously was headquartered in Davie since 1993. Before that, they were based at St. Thomas University.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross now expects the team to win thanks to the new facility. The Dolphins have not won a Super Bowl in nearly 50 years. “If you can’t win with a facility like this, you’re never gonna win,” Ross said yesterday.
