Gregore Named Inter Miami CF’s 2021 MVP

Inter Miami CF announced today that Gregore has been named the team’s Most Valuable Player for the 2021 season.

The Club captain was crucial to the team throughout the season, leading Inter Miami in tackles won (55), engaging in the most duels (365), finishing tied for third in assists (four), third in minutes played (2,538) and tied for fourth in interceptions (29). The Brazilian midfielder’s total of 55 tackles won was also tied for first in all of MLS during the regular season.

“I’m happy and honored to be named MVP this season. I want to thank the Club, my teammates, the coaches and staff for all of their support that allowed me to be successful this season. Now we’re focused on working as a team to be able to achieve all of our goals next season and to give our fans the joy that they deserve,” said Gregore.

“Gregore was massive for Inter Miami this season on and off the pitch. His effort, commitment and drive to leave it all for the badge, his team and the fans was outstanding. Around the locker room, his character, attitude and leadership were extremely positive for the group. Gregore embodies everything we want to see in an Inter Miami player and we look forward to more contributions from him next season,” said Inter Miami head coach Phil Neville.
