MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – No, the nearly $700 million Powerball jackpot isn’t coming down to South Florida. That ticket is held by someone in California.

But a lucky lottery player in Miami-Dade County still struck it big on that drawing Monday night.

Florida Lottery says that a ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Fresco y Más liquor store at 12095 Southwest 152nd Street.

If you happened to buy a ticket there ahead of Monday, double-check your numbers.

The winning numbers were 2, 22, 54, 66 and 69 — and the $1 million winner has all five of them.

The Powerball was 15, which our South Florida winner didn’t have.

The player in California who did have all five numbers plus the Powerball scored a jackpot that rose to $699.8 million, making it the seventh-largest in U.S. lottery history.

No one had won the game’s grand prize since June 5.

According to the California Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at a grocery store in Morro Bay, located along the state’s central coast. The winner will be able to choose between the annuity option paid over 29 years or the cash option of $496 million. Both prize options are subject to taxes.

There were five $1 million-winning tickets sold in this latest drawing: two in Massachusetts, one each in Virginia and Arizona, and the one in Miami-Dade.

Florida has been part of the multistate Powerball game since 2009.
