Palm Beach society: Jeffrey Epstein’s plane for sale at $16.9 million

Need a private jet?

Got $17 million, a strong stomach and absolutely no fear of karma?

Coral Springs-based Equus Global Aviation has just the thing for you — a 2008 Gulfstream G550, beautifully refurbished in camel leather and polished wood veneers, with just a bit over 7,000 air mileage.

More Palm Beach society news here.

But here’s the thing: It is one of three planes previously owned by Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a report from the (UK) Daily Mail, the listing on Equus’ website, which first appeared in mid-July, includes more than a dozen photos of the fancy flying machine. See listing here.

The jet flew 107 flights to/from airports in Palm Beach County, Teterboro, Paris and the Virgin Islands between January 2018 and June 2019, according to the Daily Mail. The tail number, N212JE, includes the dead pedophile/sex trafficker’s initials.

Does that make it easier for karma to find it during a lightning storm at 35,000 feet?

Un-acquiring … Turns out the coronavirus pandemic made Bruce Sutka a different kind of sick.

He’s sick of all his stuff, and he going to do some deaccessioning at his West Palm Beach warehouse.

“I wanted to do this last year and never got around to it,” said Sutka, whose over-the-top party designs — he once re-created a genuine Moroccan souk, camels and all, on the lawn at Mar-a-Lago for a Casablanca-themed party — established him as the “Wow!” guy.

“Then when this pandemic hit, I, like a lot of other people, took a good look at my life and debated what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to discard. And I am tired of having this giant warehouse full of stuff. So I’m selling a lot of it.”

“I’m not retiring; I’m still doing parties. But I don’t think that we are going to be seeing 500 people crammed into a ballroom anytime soon. Maybe not ever again. I’m doing more interior design and smaller parties. But that’s not to say I won’t do another blowout.”

Need a 5-foot-high dog? A Chinese writing table? A half-boy-half-loggerhead turtle for a circus-themed event? A life-size statue of a Roman emperor?

He’s got ’em.

The by-invitation “Estate Sale,” as Sutka is calling it, is on Sept. 25 at the warehouse at 1016 Clare Ave. in West Palm Beach. A public sale will be Oct. 2-4.

Bring a big car.

Northeast travelogue … Sharon Bush and her new husband Bob Murray are winding down their summer in Watch Hill.

“Bob has a lovely, small house on the water and it is a very quiet, peaceful town,” Sharon writes. “When I need more excitement  I take a one-hour ferry ride to Montauk from time to time to visit my grandsons.”

Sharon’s daughter Lauren is married to Ralph Lauren‘s son David — so yes, her name is Lauren Lauren, but she breaks it up by using her maiden name, Bush, in the middle — and they have two young boys.

“Ralph’s compound on the ocean is spectacular, as you might imagine, and I go crazy visiting the two sweetest little boys,” Sharon writes, referencing her grandsons Max and James. ” I took them out for a 45 minute paddleboard ride on my last visit and they sat quietly for the entire ride!!!”

She signed off with a political forecast. “I predict that Trump will win this fall.”
