Puppy stolen at veterinarian’s office returns home

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A puppy returned home after a woman stole it from a veterinarian’s office on Tuesday in Miami-Dade County.

The Pomeranian first returned to the Best Care Animal Clinic in Miami-Dade’s University Park neighborhood where the woman had stolen it from.

Surveillance video shows she grabbed the dog when the owner wasn’t watching, hid it under her T-shirt, and ran out of the clinic at 9804 SW 8th St.

The dog owner, who uses social media to advertise his business as a dog breeder, shared pictures of an alleged suspect. He has more than 130,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok. Only in Dade, which publishes user-submitted content, shared the video.
